Life has been…interesting. I got what I think might be strep, or as I like to call it: Demon-strep. I was sick for about 10 days before finally giving in and going to a clinic. I don’t have insurance right now and I’ve never not had it, so I didn’t really know what to do. I really quite enjoyed the clinic…prefer it to Kaiser (such a piece of shit). The first half of the illness I was completely bedridden…never been in so much pain in my entire life. My throat, neck, lymph nodes, ears, and head were all in extreme pain. Two fevers later I had what seemed like regular strep…just a really sore throat. I tried to fight it with natural stuff, but when I finally went in and the Doctor took one look at my throat…she was shocked. And that’s after I thought I was mostly better! She couldn’t believe the rapid strep test came back negative, so she sent in a swab to culture in the lab. I guess it could be a few things…I am really interested to find out. She gave me amoxicillin and prednisone…because apparently my throat was swollen? It was ugly…so I am on the antibiotics now, as much as I wanted to avoid them. She gave me the strongest one, because she said it looked really bad :(
All I know is that I will never ever take my health for granted again. If you’re well enough to exercise, go TO IT! Get that shit done…not everybody can. I can’t wait to run again.
Getting lots of photography requests, none paid. But I’m not worried. I know what to do now. Now is the time to shoot. Just shoot. And keep shooting. I have a plan, and I think it will work. Pretty stoked on life…and as scary as it is not always getting income, I know the money will come. That’s about all I have for now.
